Eurofoam Polska as a part of Eurofoam group – the world leader on the polymer market is at present one of the most modern plants in Europe. The latest technological solutions and the experience gained since 1966 make it possible to produce the polyurethane foam of the highest quality with a wide range of properties and many applications.

Optimization of our production

Taking care of the comfort for our customers, we are not indifferent to the natural environment, health and the safety of our employees. We have achieved the optimization of our production using a modern Quality Management System. Logistic solutions and efficient market research have enabled us to achieve a leading position among the manufacturers of polyurethane foam on the Polish and East European markets.

The polyurethane foam production

The polyurethane foam production system is based on the continual foaming method in the form of a long bloc. Modern technology makes it possible to produce blocs with an ideally smooth surface thanks to which the geometry of blocs is perfect. In this way the number of foam snips when the blocs are cut is limited.

The main objective of business run by our Company is to anticipate and fulfill the needs and requirements of our customers.

The company's goal

As a result we have developed new kinds of foams and the extended assortment of products. Our objective is to increase the production of technical foams. We analyse and optimise the manufacturing costs of our products at each stage of production and processing. We intend to limit a negative impact of our production on the environment around us. Foams are produced without the use of halogen derivative compounds.

Declarations

We declare that the contracts concluded shall be carried out on time. Striving after continual improvement, we introduce modern production methods while the level of the manufacturing technique applied guarantees the efficiency of our activities and the development of the Company.

Employees

All the staff, from the executives down to the lowest echelons, are involved in a continual improvement of our products. We provide the means through which the staff can identify and remove the obstacles hindering the improvement of the production quality. Our staff have got the possibility to improve their vocational skills.

Quality policy

The introduction of the quality policy in all the production is carried out by means of the Quality System which meets all standard requirements PN-ISO 9001:2000, IS0 14001 and TS 16949.

Story of company

The founding of Polopren was connected with the increasing demand of the clothing industry for textile laminates in the beginning of 60s.

1995

In 1992 the firm Recticel joined the partnership with the firm Greiner and they set up the Eurofoam holding. In 1995 the old low-pressure line for the production of polyester foams was modernised. The production of light polyether foams with the application of the CarDio method was started. The plant was granted the certificate for foams produced without halogen derivative compounds which confirmed that their production was ecologically friendly.

1992 - 1993

In the years 1992-1993 some changes in the structure of production were noted – the production of polyether foams for the furniture industry was increased considerably. A new low-pressure foaming machine unit was bought. The processing machines were modernised and many new were purchased.

1991

In 1991 the plant got in touch with A.C. Greiner und Söhne GmbH firm and on 4th September 1992 the firm Polopren Co.Ltd. was founded.

1969

By the end of 1969 the building of a new plant in Zgierz was begun. The official handover took place on 20th October 1973. In the following years a new machine unit for the secondary bond of foam waste was added to the machine stock. The plant began to co-operate more closely with the automotive industry producing insulation and soundproofing linings for it.

1966

In 1966 a state-owned enterprise called The Plant of Polyurethane Foam Production and Processing “Polopren” was established with the seat in Łódź. As long as 1966 Polopren also became the first home manufacturer of sheets and profiles for the furniture and automotive industry. In 1966 the firm Polopren started to produce pad inserts and grinded toilet sponges.
